The Indian ITES-BPO industry is growing at a tremendous pace. It is imperative that we have sustainable
and proactive workforce development initiatives in place for the longer term.

NASSCOM (National Association of Software and Service Companies), the apex body of Indian IT & service companies , along with ITES-BPO industry, has created an ‘Assessment and Certification Program’ called NASSCOM Assessment of Competence (NAC) - which is on its way to become an industry standard and will eventually ensure the transformation of a "trainable" workforce into an "employable” workforce. NAC – an initiative ‘by the industry – for the industry’ that comprises of skills that come as pre-requisites to join any ITES-BPO organization.

We are proud to proclaim that Ministry of Development of North-East Region (DoNER), Government of India, in association with NASSCOM, is launching NAC at all states of North-Eastern Region.
With this exercise, we envisage to test approximately 20, 000 candidates from all over North-East Region by January 2008.

The first state to launch NAC was the state of Rajasthan where 2500+ candidates took NAC test in the
month of November 2006 and now along with NER, the states of West Bengal, Gujarat, Chandigarh,
Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka are few amongst other states that are going to have NAC
conducted in next few months.

Registration process is divided into two category:
  1. For Final-Year Graduation Students

    Fill the NAC registration form and submit it along with 'highest education' proof ( photocopy of 2nd year mark-sheet) to address given below [through college authorities OR personally OR by post] (DOWNLOAD REGISTRATION FORM)

     
  2. For Graduates

    Fill the NAC registration form and submit it along with 'highest education' proof (photocopy of graduation certificate or 3rd year mark-sheet ) to address given below [personally  OR by post] (DOWNLOAD REGISTRATION FORM)

 

*  After receiving the documents from you, DIT team will fill the 'online registration form' on your behalf and will, later, provide you with your NAC Admission Card / Hall Ticket (by hand / e-mail OR through college authorities if you're a final- year student). DO NOT FORGET to bring the Admission Card along with your photo-ID document at the test center
 

**  If you want to fill 'online reg. form' on your own, you can do so at DIT office (address below) and DIT officials shall help you in this.
