Two days "Sensitization Workshop on Website Guidelines" was successfully organized  on 22nd and 23rd June, 2010 at I&PR Conference Hall by Department of Information and Communication Technology, Govt. of Mizoram. Office Memorandum regarding Government Network/Internet security : It has been observed that targeted attacks are being launched on Government Networks through maliciously crafted emails and pdf attachments. These PDF file attachments are embedded with malicious code specially designed for exploiting Adobe flash player, Acrobat Reader vulnerabilities. Typically the emails sent by the attacker are spoofed with "From" addresses of trusted agencies and colleagues. Since this embedded malicious code is not publicly known, the Antivirus and the Antispyware programs in India may not detect the same. Users are advised to take the following precautions to protect their systems against these targeted attacks:
